Eagle Cliff / Miles Cemetery Slope Rules
In order for us to fly at the slope, we must adhere to the following rules. Also use common sense and respect the property and the owner of the Cemetery.
1.Eagle Cliff / Miles Cemetery is open only to members of MVSA to enjoy slope soaring.
2.Be prepared to show your MVSA membership card to the landowner or their employees while you are using the slope site.
3.No power or electric flying airplanes will be allowed at the hill.
4.No flying over the house North of the hill.
5.Eagle Cliff / Miles Cemetery are only open from dusk to dawn.
6.Guests will be allowed to fly in the presence of a MVSA member only if the guest has a verified AMA license. After two trips to the slope site, the guest must join the MVSA, if he/ she wish to continue to fly at the hill.
7.We must park our vehicles only in the parking lot near the entrance. Think about visitor and leave a space or two. Also just to the left of the parking lot close to the tree line we may park a couple cars in that area. Close to the gravel pile.
8.There should be no driving up to the slope sight.
9.Occasionally a grounds caretaker will be working on the grounds. They have priority. Do not interfere with their work or expect them to work around you.
10.We shall not fly from the top of the Vault and do not stand on the Vault.
